Storm Clean-up 2019

Updated 8-6-19

Please take notice that the City will continue to pick up curb side storm damage brush through next week (week of August 12th). Residents are asked to place brush on their curb by Sunday, August 11th. We will make one final pass through the city next week, after that final pass residents are asked not to place brush on the curb but to take any remaining brush directly to the Floral Hill brush drop off site. The city will still host an annual fall curb side pick up for leaves and brush in October.

Please not park on the streets while clean-up and repair is going on. Makes things a bit easier for crews. Also, do not pile brush anywhere near fire hydrants, electrical boxes, under low hanging power or cable wires, etc.; as crews need to get into these areas.
Thank you.

We will begin brush pick up today for the City. Please put brush on the curb, perpendicular to the street with the cut end facing the street in lengths around 6 foot long, if possible.

Brush drop off sites is for City Residents. Those locations are:
South of the dog park
The OLD city garage site (next to the waters)
Back of Floral Hill Cemetery
Back behind (west) of Hatten Stadium

For non-residents of the city call your Town Hall to see what accommodations they are making for their residents.
