Bird Search!

The City of New London Bird City Committee, with the help of the Wolf River Art League, will be placing 21 art birds throughout our community. Your job, if you choose to accept it, is to find the birds!!

Each bird will have a QR code to link you to the New London Public Museum's "Save the Birds" virtual exhibit. Explore the exhibit to discover the answers to questions found on the game card. You will be entered to win a fabulous backyard bird paradise, complete with feeders and food for your new feathered friends with completion of the card!

Adult Fitness Classes

New in 2021 the New London Parks and Recreation Department is implementing a
drop in option for all Adult and Senior Fitness Classes. 

After years of requests the City will be implementing drop in classes (Land Exercise/Zumba Pass) as an option to our Adult and Senior Exercise Programs.  This will give flexibility to those that have unpredictable schedules and the opportunity to try all of our classes instead of committing to a full 7 week sessions.  If you have a set schedule and like routine and need the accountability for your fitness goals then we are still offering the 7 week sessions at a discounted rate. 

 Registration for the sessions is available at the Aquatic and Fitness Center, The New London Parks and Recreation Office or by calling 982-8521.   You can also register for these sessions at

Membership cards (Land Exercise/Zumba Pass) can be purchased or renewed at the Aquatic and Fitness Center, New London Parks and Recreation Office by stopping by or calling 982-8521 or online at  and it is the Land Exercise/Zumba Pass Option

Membership Land Exercise/Zumba Card Fees: 
Per 45-60 minute Class
Residents: $4.50     Non-Residents: $5.75
Senior Residents: $2.25     Non-Resident Seniors: $3.00

at that time due to instructor availability.

Zumba 6:00-7:00 p.m. 
Zumba, Kick it or Yoga Saturdays alternate weeks 8:00-9:00 a.m.

Personal Training

The New London Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of different options for Personal Training including training with a friend to not only motivate you but also cut the cost in half!  Check out the informational flyer here!
Fees are as follows and registration is per hour:
Individual Personal Training
1-9 sessions: Resident/Non-Resident $27/$32
10 or more sessions: Resident/Non-Resident $22/$27
Buddy Training Cost is per person
1-9 sessions: Resident/Non-Resident $16/$18.50 
10 or more sessions: Resident/Non-Resident $13.50/$16

Walking is available in the Washington Center Gym 
Monday through Friday
5:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. 

Adult Co-ed Softball is Back!

Just the softbal
Games start June 6 at Memorial Park, teams must have at least 8 team members to register.
Payment is due in full by May 17.  Men's ball is a .44 core and women's is a .47 core.
