Refunds/Credit Policy

·         Classes - Full refunds will be given for programs that are cancelled due to not meeting the required minimum to
enrollment, which varies from class to class.  You would be notified by the department if this occurs.
-If you choose not to participate a $5.00 fee will be claimed.  No refund will be given after the second class
                          of the program.

·         Rentals – Fees are non-refundable unless authorized by the Director.  Dates can be switched or fees can be credited
           to the renters account.

Fees – Resident vs Nonresident

A resident is any person who lives within the Corporate City Limits of New London.  This is not to be confused with being part of the New London Area School District or having a New London mailing address.  City, school and mail delivery boundaries are not the same.  An example is that city residents will have a street address where as a nonresident’s address will typically begin with a letter (N, S, E, W), even though they may have a New London Zip Code for their address.

The City of New London residents may receive a discount with some programs, events and facility reservations.

We do have a Resident “Membership” available for those nonresidents that find they utilize the City of New London Parks & Recreations Services for an annual fee.  This allows you to receive services provided at a resident rate.
